Marjorie's Fruit Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 breakfast cup sugar
1 breaksfast cup water
2 breakfast cup selfraisng flour
6 oz margarine
1 lb mix fruit
2 eggs
1 teaspoon mixed spice

METHOD

Boil sugar, fruit, water and margerine slowly for 15 minutes. Leave to cool.

Add floor, eggs and mixed spice to the mixture.

Line a loaf tin with foil.

Put the mixture to the loaf tin.
Bake for 2 hours in gas No.2 or electric at 300 (150 C)
